Murrine, often also called millefiori (meaning "thousand flowers"), are made by arranging single-color or multi-colored elongated glass rods, similar to making a sushi roll, so that patterns such as flowers or stars appear in the cross-section. The term millefiori often refers to both the murrine themselves and the glass products made by cutting these murrine into small pieces and arranging them. Please note that the pattern may vary from the photo depending on the section cut.
Even with the same murrine, the vt255 matte version has a ceramic-like texture, while the vt256 clear version has a glass-like texture. Please choose according to your preference. We also offer tie clips, sets, lapel pins, and tie tacks/pin brooches in the same design.
