【Made to order】Sumimaki-e Tie Pin with Raden Nashi-ji

This tie clip features a mother-of-pearl (raden) design, created by painting a gold pear-skin effect on cypress wood, then peeling thin layers of seashells, fixing them with lacquer, and polishing them to a finish.
