These are made by cutting out pieces from a patterned sheet of glass. Please note that the pattern may differ from the photo depending on the part that was cut out. Lapel pins, tie tacks, and pin brooches are also available in the same design.
About Murano Venetian Glass Murano Island is located about a 30-minute boat ride from the main island of Venice, Italy. It is the home of world-famous Venetian glass, and the main street of this peaceful town is lined with many Venetian glass shops.
There are many glass workshops on Murano Island, where you can watch glass artisans magically create one beautiful glass piece after another using traditional techniques that have continued since ancient Roman times.
