Murrine, often called millefiori (a thousand flowers), is made by combining single or multi-colored elongated glass rods in a sushi-roll fashion to create patterns such as flowers or stars in cross-section. Glass products made by cutting and arranging these pieces are often collectively referred to as millefiori. Please note that the pattern will differ from the photo depending on the cut section.
Even with the same murrine, the "matte" version of svt11 has a ceramic-like texture, while the "clear" version of svt12 has a glass-like texture. Please choose according to your preference. We also offer lapel pins, tie tacks, and pin brooches in the same design.
